VEAP

VEAP

Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP) was founded by churches in Edina, Richfield, Bloomington, and south Minneapolis to serve those in need throughout the community. Forty-one years later the need is greater than ever. VEAP is a basic needs organization whose programs include access to healthy foods, social services,  housing stability, and supportive services. VEAP takes a holistic approach to program delivery together with its strategic partners to build a stronger community.

COVID-19 Response Update: Since the pandemic hit, VEAP’s team of housing specialists have ramped up the reach and scope of their Rent Assistance program. In addition, VEAP continued to distribute food and basic personal and household supplies to face increasing needs. St. Stephen’s is supporting VEAP through a Response Response outreach grant, holding Stuff the Truck events, and through the Martyrs Hunger Relief Fund.
